Military Appreciation & the Silverado 1500 Special Ops Edition

The month of May is National Military Appreciation Month  and to mark this important day, Chevrolet joined the National Navy SEAL Museum to honor the men and women who have served in the United States military – specifically the special forces.

In November 2015, Chevrolet introduced the Silverado Special Ops concept; a multi-purpose truck that reflected the commitment of the special-forces to do anything, anywhere. Based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, the Special Ops edition features a new front-end design, high-strength body structure, and new technologies that draw upon navel design aesthetics. For every Special Ops edition sold, Chevrolet will make a donation to the Navy SEAL Museum.

Silverado Special Ops Features:

20″ Black Aluminum Wheels | Deep-tinted windows | Black Chevrolet emblems | Naval Inspired Graphics | Bed-mounted Sport Bar with Special Ops signature | All-terrain tires | Available on Silverado 1500 Double Cab model

Beyond the release of the Silverado Special Ops Edition, Chevrolet has made a deep commitment to honor the men and women of our Military each and every day. Throughout the month of May, Chevrolet has extended the Military Discount Program to the family members who support their heroes in the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, and Coast Guard.
