Chevrolet takes the Redline to the next level

Earlier this month at the Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet announced the Redline special edition trim series across nine of its cars, trucks, and crossovers! Redline first made an appearance as a concept back in 2015 at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) in Las Vegas and has since become a reality!

All models in the Redline series come equipped with unique accent packages: black wheels featuring red lines, black-out grilles, black badges and black Chevy bowtie logos. Depending on the vehicle, individual models will start to differ based on customers’ preferences.

Redline trims will be available to order on the 2017 Cruze Sedan, 2017 Cruze Hatch, 2017 Colorado, 2017 Camaro, 2017 Colorado, 2017 Silverado 1500, 2018 Malibu, 2018 Trax, 2018 Equinox, and 2018 Traverse.

“Our special edition lineup has been popular with customers and dealers, alike” said Chevrolet’s U.S. vice president Brian Sweeney. “Since the introduction of special editions on vehicles the like Silverado and Camaro, vehicle average transaction prices have increased, time to turn has decreased, and conquest rates have risen, which has contributed to making Chevrolet the fastest-growing brand in the industry two years in a row.”

We are excited to say that the Silverado Redlines are now available for purchase however the rest of the models aren’t available just yet! Learn more about the individual models and when they become available.

2015-truck-of-the-year-promoRecognized for its best-in-class efficiency and power, ingenious technology, and advanced safety features, Chevy Colorado has been awarded Motor Trend’s 2015 Truck of the Year®.

Since 1979, Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year® award has gone to the best new or significantly redesigned pickup truck each year. Chevrolet has received the award an industry-leading eight times, most recently in 2011 for the Silverado HD.

With Colorado, Chevy has reinvented the midsize pickup. The 3.6L V6 engine provides best-in-class 305 horsepower while also delivering best-in-class fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 26 MPG highway. Because a truck is more than just what’s under the hood, the refined and quiet interior of the Colorado offers the comfort of a sedan with the utility of a truck, and an available high-speed 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection turns the truck into the ultimate hot spot. Safety is also key, and Colorado offers the most advanced safety package of any midsize truck with available Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning. Add in a starting price of $20,995 and it’s easy to see why Motor Trend’s 2015 Truck of the Year® is the all-new Chevy Colorado.
